What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Dreamaster uses them to keep you signed in, remember your consent choice, and - only if you agree - to understand how the product is used and measure marketing effectiveness.
Cookies we use
Essential - always on
life_builder_session (sign-in token, up to 7 days), life_builder_admin_session (staff-only), dm_lang (your chosen interface language, one year), dm_tz (your time zone, one year, so that today's tasks are shown for your own day), and dm_cc (only records that you have made a cookie choice, one year). Required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in. Your cookie choice itself (life_builder_cookie_consent) is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
Analytics - only after you accept
Google Analytics 4 (_ga and related cookies) measures aggregate usage - pages visited, features used - so we can improve the product. Does not load until you click "Accept all" below.
Marketing - only after you accept
Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc and related cookies) measures the effectiveness of our ads and helps us understand campaign performance. With it, our server also relays page views and contact-form submissions to Meta: your IP address and browser details and, for a contact submission, a hashed email and the topic you chose, never your message. Nothing loads or is sent until you click "Accept all" below.
Proof of your choice - only after you accept
dm_consent (180 days) is a signed security cookie that records that you accepted. It holds a random visitor code (no name, e-mail or account) that lets our server send events to Meta only for visitors who accepted, and lets a page we are testing show you the same version each time. It is removed when you withdraw consent.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept all cookies or essential only. Analytics and marketing cookies only load if you accept - declining (or ignoring the banner) means they never load. You can change your mind at any time:
Third-party cookies
We do not use third-party advertising cookies beyond the Meta Pixel described above, and we do not sell your data. Content or services we link to or embed may set their own cookies subject to that provider's privacy policy. Besides the cookies above, we set a referral cookie (ref_code, 30 days) if you arrive through a referral link, a short-lived sign-in state cookie (oauth_state) while you use Google sign-in, and a security cookie (dm_dev, one year) that lists, as one-way codes, which accounts have signed in on this browser; it is used only to stop people earning referral rewards by referring themselves and holds no personal data. If you accepted marketing cookies, we also keep the campaign tags of the link you arrived through (such as utm_source) in your browser's local storage.
Managing cookies
Beyond the control above, you can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Dreamaster.
